What we offer
We help Young People to achieve better outcomes through education, training and life skills.
Every young person is an individual with different needs, whom we respect, support and value
16+ Semi-independent Living
All our homes and services are designed with young people at their very heart – that way we can ensure they are fit for purpose to achieve the best outcomes. As young people progress and move forward with us we will provide the appropriate social and emotional support to ensure we are meeting their needs.
Pathway to Independence
We can provide different types of accommodation dependent on the young persons needs. In all of our properties, staff will always be available to support young people to work towards their goals for a positive future and help ensure they are ready to face independence.
Improves overall Well- being
Our semi-independent homes are more than just somewhere to live. They bridge the gap and assist young people with the transition to independence so that they prepared and ready for the challenges of living alone. We provide a friendly nurturing environment whilst promoting their independence skills.
At Accompanied Care, "We believe that the most successful way of achieving positive outcomes and change is through building trusting positive relationships with the young people in our care".
It is our belief that through this relationship the most effective change can take place and young people can build the foundations for a secure and positive future.
Our approach has taken on board some of the principles of social pedagogy, this is the theory that education and care are intertwined, which promotes person-centred care and is a holistic approach to meeting a young person's individual needs. Evidence indicates that young people who are out of education are more likely to engage in offending behaviour and this is why education is such a key focus at Accompanied Care.
With over 15 years experience of working with LAC children & young people within education, we have recognised the importance of young people being engaged in education during school hours and the safety net that this can provide. At Accompanied Care young people will be supported with all aspects of engagement into education, employment & training.
